icon<\/strong> to show it on the toolbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the icon appears, click it to open the quick access menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Options<\/strong> button to open the main configuration page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick Proxy Setup in ZeroOmega<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re using the default profile named <strong>proxy<\/strong>, here&#8217;s how to add your proxy server in just a few steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure the <strong>proxy<\/strong> profile is selected in the left sidebar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Protocol<\/strong> dropdown, select your proxy type (e.g. HTTP, SOCKS5).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Server<\/strong> field, enter the proxy IP address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Port<\/strong> field, enter the correct port number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) If your proxy requires authentication, click the <strong>lock icon<\/strong> to open the login popup:<br>\u2003\u20035.1 Enter your <strong>Username<\/strong><br>\u2003\u20035.2 Enter your <strong>Password<\/strong><br>\u2003\u20035.3 Click <strong>Save proxy is now active and ready to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Check If Your IP Has Changed<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After setting up a proxy in ZeroOmega, you can verify that your new IP address is active by visiting a simple test page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just go to: <a href=\"https:\/\/proxycompass.com\/ip-address\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/proxycompass.com\/ip-address\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This page will show your current IP address, country, and ISP.<br>If the proxy is working correctly, the IP displayed there should match the one you configured in ZeroOmega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large Proxy Lists in ZeroOmega: Setup, Rotation, Export, and Automation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s say you have a proxy list with many IPs from different countries \u2014 for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"hcb_wrap\"><pre class=\"prism line-numbers lang-plain\"><code>DE 185.101.20.107:1085\nUS 193.202.86.13:1085\nFR 194.99.24.47:1085\nRU 185.68.152.66:1085\nBR 185.61.216.64:1085\n\u2026<\/code><\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>All of them are SOCKS5 and authorized by your device\u2019s IP (no login\/password required). Below we\u2019ll walk through how to set them up efficiently in ZeroOmega and how to get the most out of the extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add Each Proxy to Its Own Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s start with the first proxy from our list \u2014 the one for Germany (185.101.20.107:1085). The currently active profile will be highlighted. To switch, simply click on another profile \u2014 the change will apply instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating Auto Switch Rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ZeroOmega allows you to automatically assign specific proxies based on the websites you visit. This is done using the <strong>Auto Switch<\/strong> profile, which activates different proxy profiles depending on the rules you define.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The domains and proxy profiles shown in the screenshot are just examples. Here&#8217;s how to set it up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Select the Auto Switch profile<\/strong><br>On the left-hand menu, click on the <strong>auto switch<\/strong> entry (see label \u2460 on the screenshot). This opens the rule editor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add matching rules<\/strong><br>In the \u201c<strong>Switch rules<\/strong>\u201d section \u2461, use the dropdown to set the <strong>Condition Type<\/strong> to &#8220;<em>Host wildcard<\/em>&#8220;. Then enter a domain in the <strong>Condition Details<\/strong> field (e.g., <em>*.vk.com<\/em>) and assign the appropriate proxy profile (e.g., &#8220;<strong>proxy-ru<\/strong>&#8220;). Repeat this for other websites and countries:<br>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>*.craigslist.org<\/em> \u2192 &#8220;<strong>proxy-us<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>*.spiegel.de<\/em> \u2192 &#8220;<strong>proxy-de<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>*.vk.com<\/em> \u2192 &#8220;<strong>proxy-ru<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>*.leboncoin.fr<\/em> \u2192 &#8220;<strong>proxy-fr<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>*.mercadolivre.com.br<\/em> \u2192 &#8220;<strong>proxy-br<\/strong>&#8220;<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Set a fallback rule<\/strong><br>At the bottom \u2462, define a default action for all other sites. This creates a Proxy Auto-Config script for browser use. However, <strong>.pac<\/strong> files only contain switching logic and proxy addresses \u2014 they don\u2019t preserve profiles, authentication, or UI preferences.
