HTTP proxy service

HTTP Proxies

Run browsers, scripts, and automation through the IPs you need.

Use the HTTP proxy setting your software already understands. Get fixed IPs for consistent access or send requests through a large rotating pool, with controls and usage statistics in your dashboard.

  • Unlimited traffic; rotating plans are priced by included requests
  • Username/password or IP whitelist on static access
  • Exportable lists and API access for automated workflows

A paid two-day test with your chosen static configuration.

Your existing tools

Set a proxy once. Keep your workflow.

Any application with an HTTP proxy setting can use the host and port shown in your service card. Here is what setup looks like in familiar software.

Browsers

Chrome · Firefox

Enter the HTTP proxy in your browser or system network settings, then authenticate when prompted. Your browsing sessions use the assigned exit IP.

Scripts and API clients

cURL · Python Requests

Pass the proxy URL to your HTTP client. Keep the same address for scheduled checks or feed requests to a rotating endpoint without changing the rest of your script.

Automation

Playwright · Scrapy

Configure the proxy when your browser context or crawler starts. Run jobs through your allocated IPs, then review usage in the ProxyCompass dashboard.

Address options

Three ways to use HTTP proxies.

All three use a familiar HTTP proxy setting. What changes is the IP address your target site sees.

Fixed datacenter address

Static Datacenter Proxies

Keep a stable IP for repeat visits and choose your countries. Datacenter infrastructure gives you fast, reliable access with unlimited traffic at the lower static IP price.

Fixed ISP address

Static ISP Proxies

Use a stable IP from an internet provider's address range. It offers stronger trust with sites that are sensitive to datacenter IPs, along with speed and stability. ISP IPs cost more than Datacenter IPs.

Changing exit

Rotating Proxies

Send requests through one gateway and draw exit IPs from a 100k pool across multiple countries. Use a sticky session when a multi-step task needs to keep the same IP temporarily.

Get connected

From purchase to your first request.

Your dashboard gives you the connection details and the controls you need after checkout.

01 · Open your service

Copy the endpoint

Find the HTTP host or static IP, port, username, and password in your service card. For static access, export an entire list in the format your software expects.

02 · Authorize your client

Use a login or whitelist

Use port 8080 and credentials on static IPs, or add your public client IP to the whitelist and use port 8085. Rotating access uses credentials; its endpoint appears in your service card.

03 · Watch the work

Review usage

Check traffic history over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or a custom range. Rotating access also shows recent requests and the target sites they reached. API access is available for automation.

Example request · static HTTPcurl -x http://USER:PASS@PROXY_IP:8080 https://example.org

Straightforward pricing

Know what you pay for.

Traffic is unlimited. Static access is priced by IP count; rotating access is priced by included requests over a 30-day term.

Static IP rates

Monthly price per IP falls as your order grows. These are sample quantity tiers.

IP countDatacenter / IPISP / IP
100–999$0.18$0.45
1,000–2,999$0.111$0.2775
5,000–9,999$0.078$0.195

At 100 IPs: $18/month for Datacenter or $45/month for ISP. Set your own country mix and term in the configurator.

Rotating request volumes

Choose a request allowance that matches the work you send through the gateway.

Included requests30-day access
2 million$30
5 million$70
10 million$120

Larger volumes and longer terms are available. Your dashboard tracks usage against the allowance.

Locations

Put fixed IPs in the countries you need.

Available country choices depend on the IP type. Build a mix for your order and check live inventory before purchase.

After purchase

Manage the service as your work changes.

Access, IP lists, and help remain in your account after your first connection.

Human support

Send a ticket from the Client Area if an endpoint, authorization setting, or workflow needs attention. Include your service and the behavior you see.

Connection questions

Before you connect

Do I buy HTTP as a separate service?

No. HTTP is one of the connection methods on the ProxyCompass access you purchase. Use the HTTP settings from your service card.

Where do I find my proxy endpoint?

Open your service card in the dashboard and copy the connection address and HTTP port shown there. Static services provide your allocated IP list; rotating access provides the gateway details.

Will an HTTP proxy work with an HTTPS website?

Yes. Your client can use CONNECT through the HTTP proxy and establish TLS with the target website. If you need a TLS-encrypted connection to the proxy itself, use the separate HTTPS endpoint supported by the service.

How many simultaneous connections can I use?

The limit for static proxies depends on the number of IPs in your order:

IPs in the orderMaximum connections
100–9991,500
1,0003,000
3,0009,000
5,00010,000
10,00020,000
15,00015,000
25,00025,000
50,00050,000

This is one shared service limit. You can split it between whitelisted client IPs in the dashboard. Additional connections are available as an add-on.
