SOCKS5 & SOCKS4 access

SOCKS Proxies

Connect the apps and tools that ask for SOCKS.

Use SOCKS5 for flexible app connections or SOCKS4 when older software needs it. Pick stable IPs or a rotating gateway and get the settings from your account.

  • SOCKS5 with password or static IP whitelist
  • SOCKS4 for compatible applications
  • Unlimited traffic; rotating plans are priced by included requests

The paid two-day test uses your selected static configuration.

Choose your version

Choose the SOCKS version your app needs.

Check which version your application accepts. SOCKS5 is the choice for most current tools; SOCKS4 remains available for software built around it.

5

SOCKS5 Proxies

Connect with a login or, on static services, an authorized client IP. SOCKS5 can pass a hostname to the proxy for DNS resolution when your client offers that mode.
  • Static ports 1080 and 1085
  • Rotating gateway with credentials
  • UDP where enabled and supported by your app
4

SOCKS4 Proxies

For applications that specifically require the older SOCKS4 connection. On static services, authorize your client through IP whitelisting and use port 1084.
  • Static port 1084 with client IP whitelist
  • Built for IPv4 destinations
  • No password login on the SOCKS4 endpoint

Use it in your software

Give your app the proxy setting it expects.

Look for SOCKS5 or SOCKS4 in the application's connection settings. Enter the host and port from your service card and choose the matching authorization method.

Browsers and desktop apps

Firefox · apps with SOCKS settings

Select SOCKS5 in the app's proxy settings, enter your proxy host and port, then supply credentials or authorize your client IP as required.

Scripts and HTTP clients

cURL · Python Requests with SOCKS support

Point the client at a SOCKS5 URL. In cURL, socks5h:// sends the target hostname to the proxy for resolution.

Recurring app jobs

Downloaders · network tools

Store the SOCKS endpoint in software that supports it, run recurring tasks through assigned IPs, and review service activity in your dashboard.

Address options

Choose how your outgoing IP behaves.

Your SOCKS setting connects the software. The service you buy determines whether its exit IP stays fixed or changes.

Stable server IPs

Static Datacenter Proxies

Keep assigned datacenter addresses for tools that return to the same account or target. Choose countries and export the IP list for your software.

Stable provider IPs

Static ISP Proxies

Use fixed IPs from internet provider ranges when your target benefits from stronger trust. ISP costs more than Datacenter access.

Rotating Proxies

Use a SOCKS5 gateway to draw from a mixed-country pool. A sticky session can hold one exit for a sequence of related actions.

Get connected

From service card to working connection.

The address, port, and authorization settings live in your account after checkout.

01 · Pick the version

Match your software

Use SOCKS5 for a current client or SOCKS4 when the app specifically requires it. Copy the endpoint for that version from the service card.

02 · Authorize access

Log in or whitelist

For static SOCKS5, use a password on 1080 or whitelist on 1085. Static SOCKS4 uses whitelist on 1084. Rotating SOCKS5 uses credentials.

03 · Test your exit

Run a request

Connect from the app, confirm the outgoing IP, and use dashboard statistics to follow usage. Check the client settings if DNS behavior matters to your task.

Pricing

SOCKS is included in the access you buy.

Set an IP count for a static service or select a request allowance for rotation. SOCKS access is included; optional UDP for static packages is priced separately.

Static IP rates

Prices per IP fall as order quantity grows. Choose the countries and IP type in the configurator.

IP countDatacenter / IPISP / IP
100–999$0.18$0.45
1,000–2,999$0.111$0.2775
5,000–9,999$0.078$0.195

At 100 IPs, monthly access starts at $18 for Datacenter or $45 for ISP. SOCKS5 and SOCKS4 settings are included where supported.

Rotating request volumes

Select a 30-day request allowance for the SOCKS5 gateway.

Included requests30-day access
2 million$30
5 million$70
10 million$120

Track requests in your account. Larger volumes and longer terms are available.

Optional UDP for static proxies

Enable UDP when buying a Static Datacenter or ISP package, or add it to an existing one. It adds 50% to the package price.

SOCKS questions

Before you connect.

Which version should I choose?

Use SOCKS5 when your software supports it. Choose SOCKS4 when your application specifically asks for version 4. On static access, use the whitelist endpoint.

Does SOCKS5 encrypt my traffic?

SOCKS5 itself does not add encryption. If your task needs an encrypted connection to a website, use that website's HTTPS address. The separate HTTPS proxy endpoint protects the client-to-proxy leg for compatible clients.

Can the proxy resolve a hostname for me?

Yes, with SOCKS5 when your client sends the hostname to the proxy. For example, cURL uses socks5h:// for proxy-side resolution; socks5:// resolves it locally.

Can I send UDP through SOCKS?

SOCKS5 supports UDP when the optional feature is enabled on a static package and your application supports it. See Pricing for the add-on.

How many simultaneous connections can I use?

For static access, the shared limit depends on order size:

IPs in the orderMaximum connections
100–9991,500
1,0003,000
3,0009,000
5,00010,000
10,00020,000
15,00015,000
25,00025,000
50,00050,000

This limit is shared across the service and can be allocated among whitelisted client IPs in your account. Additional connections are available as an add-on.
