HTTPS adds TLS between your client and the proxy. That matters when credentials and web requests cross shared networks or remote infrastructure. The destination website has its own connection, separate from this first leg.

Use the HTTPS host and port shown for your service. Static IPs can be exported in the format required by your tool.
02 · Choose authorization
Sign in or whitelist
On static access, use credentials on 8443 or an authorized client IP on 8444. Rotating access uses credentials and the secure gateway details in your dashboard.
03 · Check the connection
Make a test request
Set the proxy scheme to https:// , run a request, and confirm the exit IP. Review requests and service usage in your account.

A few points before you connect.
Is an HTTPS website the same thing as an HTTPS proxy?
No. An HTTPS website protects the connection to that site. An HTTPS proxy also encrypts the connection between your client and the proxy. You can use both at the same time.
Does encryption guarantee the proxy will never be blocked?
No. TLS protects data in transit; it does not prevent a network or website from blocking a proxy IP, hostname, or port. Choose HTTPS for a secure connection to the proxy.
Can I use it to reach an HTTP website?
Yes, if your client supports an HTTPS proxy. The connection to the proxy is encrypted, but a plain HTTP destination does not become encrypted after traffic leaves the proxy.
How many simultaneous connections can I use?
For static access, the shared limit depends on the number of IPs in your order:
