The second stage consists of creating a set of criteria which is focused solely on the task at hand. The criteria should be tailored to the system’s context and be objectively measurable. Finally, the heuristics are applied to the system to identify potential usability issues.
Heuristic analysis is becoming an increasingly important tool in the design and development process of websites and digital products, as it allows for rapid feedback and meaningful insights into the users’ experience. By using this method, it is possible to identify current issues, as well as preventing and avoiding future problems in the design.
